Connection Between D365FO, AZURE and SALESFORCE for data transfer

Hi All,

I have got a requirement in which i have to make data transfer from D365F&O to Salesforce and vice versa using Azure event hubs.

But i am very new to Azure so i am not sure how to start.  How to use Azure event hubs for the connection? I have gone through some blogs, some suggested to use Logic apps and some suggested Rest API, but i don't know which will be helpful or which one to use and neither there was clear mention how to setup the connection from D365F&O to Azure to salesforce.

Can anyone guide me what steps or procedure do i have to follow from D365F&O side, Azure side and salesforce side to make the connection possible.

Any help or guidance will be very helpful for me.

Thanks in advance.

    Hello ,

    In simple terms

You can consume salesforce API to send data.

You can expose your table(s) to salesforce to receive data into D365FO using Odata.

    HI komi,

From the saleforce side i have to use ROBOMQ as the connector, so as you suggested above two methods how i can connect with it? and how i can use azure event hubs as a connector from D365F&O side?

Here is the link to the salesforce connector for your reference- robomq.readthedocs.io/.../

    Thanks for the quick reply.

    Hi Deeksha,

    My suggestion.

You can consume the Saleforce API using a .NET class library, then reference that in your X++ project.

I have not integrated with Saleforce before, but with other apps and my approach had been what I am suggesting.

Check out if Logic Apps wouldn't be the easiest solution. They have connectors for SalesForce, F&O and Event Hubs too.
