Sales Order vs Posted Sales Invoice

Posted on by 12

I am currently working on Nav 2017.  I am trying to compare  original captured Sales orders vs posted sales invoices to confirm if the full order was invoiced and if not what items with cost was not posted.  It does not reflect on our Back Orders as the sales orders gets deleted if not fully invoiced, and the same on the Customer order list.

Is there a report or another way to compare sales orders vs posted sales invoices in Navision

As the others said, this would be a custom report, due to the business process isn't so tight between orders are invoices. In an invoice you could deal with several orders and even not the complete quantities of each line.

Hi, If you want to keep the order, you can turn on the Archive function, but I think it is also difficult to compare, so your needs may need to be customized.

    Hope this helps.

    Thanks.

it doesn't look like there is out of box report for that. Why you mention the sales orders get deleted if not fully invoiced? a sales order gets deleted by nav when it is fully deleted. Unless users delete sales order manually, which is not recommended.
