Dear, please, what is the difference between the Status of the Active Quotation - Open X Active - In Progress and what actions effectively change these Statuses Active - Open X Active - In Progress, the following print for example:

You need to change the expiration date and then you can make changes to this quote.

Open for us means it has been created but not worked on yet.

In Progress for us means someone has been working on it.

But you cannot make changes if the expiration date (Termino da Vigencia) is in the past.

Hi Ben, thanks for the help, but I still haven't been able to understand, because doing validations, I couldn't get Active Status - Open, does this really not work? Is that what you meant?

I apologize for the misunderstanding.

Status can be: Active, Closed, Draft, or Won

Status Reason can be many choices, including In Progress or Open

I do not see any Open quotes in my system either so I'm afraid I cannot answer how or why they would end up with that Status Reason.

Hi Ben, this is well understood, but I still haven't been able to understand which actions specifically change the Quotation Status to Active - Open or Active - In Progress?

I can't see this behavior on screen, because every time I create a new Quotation or Asset, whether it has an Effective Date or not, it is always in Active - In Progress, which action can I see it in Active - Open?

Hi Dani,

Based on following thread, Active -> Open means the quote is still open (not shared with the client) , whereas Active -> In progress means quote has been shared with the client.

Quote Active Status - Microsoft Dynamics CRM Forum Community Forum

By default, the status reason is 'In Progress' after you active the quote, maybe you can create a workflow to change it if you want to show 'open' option.
