STILL unable to open file error when upgrading to MS Dynamics 2010

Hi,

I am trying to upgrade from MS Dynamics 10 to 2010.

During the upgrade, I've reached the stage where you have to upgrade the forms and reports.

I was getting the following error:

Starting updating of Microsoft Dynamics GP reports
Exporting Dynamics.set: unable to open file

and then it throws up a error:

"Product was updated with errors"

So, as advised in this thread

I imported the forms package.

I am trying to login to GP Utilities, and then tried to "Update modified forms and reports" ....

I am still getting the same error !

Is the modified dictionaries local to the machine you are doing the update on? If not you will want to bring them local, upgrade them and then move them back to the shared location. Otherwise you can simply bring them local and then rename them to Reportsold.dic and then reimport them using Report Writer.
