Hi,

I have created an inbound port of a custom service using HTTP adapter in ax 2012 and if a client onside the network want to consume the web service i understand that i should host my service in the IIS. How can we know weather the generated service is SOAP or RESTfull service and if the service is SOAP format how can i convert it to REST as my third party can only consume RESTfull service.

    Hi Venkatdax0,
AX can expose only SOAP out of the box, here you can find several possible workarounds community.dynamics.com/.../expose-ax-2012-aif-services-soap-as-restful-web-services but they have to be done outside of AX.
