Is it possible to copy a quick journal? If so, how is it done?

No there is not, but if you are on GP 2010 there is a new feature that allows you to create a recurring entry and clear the amounts. That is basically a QJ.

what about going to transaction entry, when window is open click on "copy" and then you enter year and journal entry # to be copied from.... does it work?
