Does D365 F&O support equity method or proportionate consolidation using Online consolidation?

Please can someone advise if D365 F&O supports equity method or proportionate consolidation using the Online consolidation feature.

If it does, please advise on a high level or a link how/where this is configured. If the two methods of consolidation mentioned are not supported is Financial reporter the only alternative option using hardcoded calculations to add a formula so only the % in the calculation is used where the subsidiary is partially owned - assume majority holding, but not full ownership.

Hello AS,

Firstly, you can activate the feature consolidation template to create a consolidation setup to run each time: Online financial consolidations - Finance | Dynamics 365 | Microsoft Learn

When the template is activated, we can set for each company how much % do we want to import from our legal entity:

The consolidation account mapping can be based on this alternative way:

- same CoA: you don't need to do a mapping; just the system will insert the & balance on the same consolidated account number

- consolidation account mapping: insert on the child legal entity the consolidated main account present on the CoA of the consolidation legal entity (you can use also the additional consolidation account setup):

If, during the consolidation process, there is a difference between the total debit and credit (because you didn't map all accounts), the difference will be inserted in the B&L or P&L automatic account set on the consolidation company:
