How do I print out a daily, and monthly report of number of sales per day and average ticket. I also need to run a report that can exclude specific items so the averages are more realistic.

This is a very late reply, but here's an answer in case someone in the future has this same question.
Customer Source has a report called:
Average Sales By Cashier
It gives you the average number of daily transactions and average ticket broken down by cashier. You can set the date range.
There's another report:
Average Sales By Store
Which gives you the average number of daily transactions and average ticket for the entire store. (No break downs.) You can set the date range.
Unfortunately, those reports don't allow you much filtering. You can't eliminate departments or ranges of itemlookup codes, for instance.
