Trying to save a record and get "Assignee has insufficient privileges"

I have created a new entity and when I fill out the form and try to save the record, I get the following error: "Assignee has insufficient privileges."  I am part of the security role called, "system admin"

Not sure why I keep getting this message, any help is appreciated.  Thank you.

I can save another record for a different entity just fine.  Not sure if that helps things

Is there plenty of disk space on the sql server?    I would check with your SQL admin as it sounds like something funky on the SQL sides of things.   Also try to create a new form in the entity with just one or two fields and see if it saves.  If it does slowly add each field in to see if it is a particular field giving you the problem.     If you cannot save with just one or two fields in a new form, it is definitely onthe back end and not from within CRM.

I have logged out and back in.  This is in our Dev environment.  I just created a new entity and it is set to User for the organization.  I can create the record, fill it out, but just can't save it.  I looked in the system roles, and system admin has full access.  I looked at my user security and I am part of the system admin role.  This is on premise.

What have you done to troubleshoot?  Did you log in and back out?    Is this the sandbox or production?  Try it in sandbox or if this is sandbox, try another entity.     If online, you might need MS involved but could just be a refresh problem or could be more.

Please give more detail so we can help out some more.

    Thanks
