Create Vendors after importing Products using Released Products V2 entity for DMF

Hi All,

I have a requirement where I need to create Vendors using custom fields in Released Products V2 entity. We have duplicated Released Products V2 entity to handle a complex logic. I need to also create Vendors using a custom fields added in this entity, which method would be appropriate to handle this requirement. I know Posttargetprocess can be used after we have imported all data. But is there a way to create vendor row by row when a product is created and released one by one.

    Hi Pranav, I think it's an unusual requirement to create vendors while creating products. However, in data entity if you have added all the required fields to create record in VendTable and joined datasource correctly (if not already in standard data entity) then you won't need to write code. Ensure ReadOnly property of VendTable datasource is No.

    Hi Mohit,

    1) Can we use Vendors V2 entity as datasouece to join to Released Products V2. If we cover all mandatory fields in duplicates released products entity.

    2) Also if i use unmapped fields on duplicated Releases products V2 entity then which method is appropriate to insert record one by one as product is created. As I mentioned i am aware of Posttargetprocess.
