Forms Pro Responses not appearing

Hi ,

Not sure if this is the right place to post this, but here goes...

I have created a couple of test surveys in Forms pro (in the production environment)

I have distributed them via email (and i know they arrived and were responded to because i was the one that responded)

When I look at the surveys on the Forms Pro home page, I see each one has some responses (1 says "2 responses" the other says "6 responses")

However, when I open the surveys and click on the responses tab

it just shows me the number of invitations sent and responses is "0"

What could be the problem here?

Hi Carolin, I had this functionality before installing this additional solution. The Marketing App already installs some solution with it. So, my point was that I don't think you need to install this solution if you have installed the Marketing App.

I must say, and this is a general point,  that find it quite alarming that we are scrabbling around in the dark for answers a full year after D365 for marketing was released.  I do hope I am not beginning to see the writing on the wall already!

    Hi Stephani,

if you want a workaround for it right now, you can create a Microsoft Flow (Power Automate), which is creating personalized survey links with the Forms Pro Action "Create an Invitation"-Step  to the surveys for each contact who should participate in the survey and will receive the invitation to the survey. Save that personalized survey link in a dummy field on your contact and insert it with the dynamic content functionality of dynamics marketing in the marketing email.

Megan has a detailed explanation for it: meganvwalker.com/.../

Instead of sending it then via email, save it on the contact and then use it in the marketing email ;)

    Kind regards, Carolin

    Hi Iain,

when you have the solution installed on your crm system you should be able to see the answers via opening the advanced find and looking for the entity "Forms Pro Survey Responses". Search for all and you find all Forms Pro Survey Responses which has been submitted for your (production) environment (even those which are not from your created surveys). When opening one record you see the submitted answers in the "Question Responses"-Section. Depending on if it was a personalized or anonymous survey you see also the contact linked.

You can also search in the advanced find for the created survey via the entity "Forms Pro Survey", select the survey you've created and in the related Entities "Forms Pro Survey Responses" you find the submitted surveys.

Hope it helps, kind regards, Carolin

    Hi Lain,

Have you also raised your question in Forms Pro community? :)

Due to there is limited data and doc about integration of Marketing application with Forms Pro,

you could open a support ticket for help:

    Clofly

Just out of interest, I installed this additional solution, and it doesnt appear to have given me anything extra, also it doesn't seem to have fixed the issue of responses not appearing.

    Hi Stephani,

Sorry for not being clearer, I distributed via Forms Pro Email to a view of contacts from D365, as the FOrms Pro email can send to D365 contacts.

When I look at the 2019 Release Wave 2 documentation, it appears that the Forms Pro integration for Marketing has been removed. I remember it was there (originally supposed to be released in October with the rest of Wave 2 and then pushed to Dec 2019).

Maybe part of 2020 Wave 1 now?

Iain, how did you distribute the survey via email?

The reason I ask - I attempted to distribute a Forms Pro Survey via a Customer Journey and the tile is still referencing the old VoC surveys - I do not see the integration between D365 Marketing and Forms Pro yet.  It says its coming this month, but I haven't seen it actually released yet.  Depending on how you sent the survey - it may be the Forms Pro functionality and not related to D365 Marketing at all.
