Payables EFT Output Path

Posted on by 170

Client installed new workstations (upgrade from XP Pro to Windows 7)

When they process EFT for Payables, they receive the following message:

"EFT file could not be generated in the path specified for the PM Domestic Payments in Checkbook EFT Payables Options"

They checked permissions on the path and file and the user has full control.  Path is mapped to a common system wide drive letter

Any ideas on how to resolve this?

Is UAC an issue in this?

Thanks,

Jim

    Ian,

Thanks for the info.  I know they tried to manually browse for it and got the same error message.  They can also browse to the file through explorer

I like the local folder idea.  I will recommend that.

Have you tried resetting the output path manually? Go the Cards >> Financial >> Chequebook >> EFT Bank >> Payables Options. Use the folder icon to drill back to the server, drive and folder you need. See if this resoles.

Can you navigate to the required folder in windows explorer?

Try a local folder and see will EFT run successfully - this will 99% sure tell you its a permissions issue.
