9829000 Error -1: Object reference not set to an instance of an object.

I am upgrading from SL 6.5 to SL 2011, when I run the database maintenance program i get this error message "9829000 Error -1: Object reference not set to an instance of an object." . It pops up at the very beginning and then it shows up repeatedly in the dbbuild.log file. Then it appears to begin processing my application databases and I get this error message.

"Error Code: -2146232060 Error Text: Invalid object name 'LWSIVSystem..UserGrp'"

Does anyone have any ideas what the cause may be?

I ran the FRx scripts and then reran the upgrade and there were no errors.  The name of the System Database was changed for test purposes and the rerunning of the FRx scripts rectified the problem.

    I get a similar result when upgrading from 6.5 to SL 2011 SP1 -

The DBBUILD log holds the following:

    Error Code: -1

Error Text: Object reference not set to an instance of an object.

Statement: IF OBJECT_ID ('sDeleteAcctSub_DatabaseName', 'TR') IS NOT NULL DROP TRIGGER sDeleteAcctSub_DatabaseName

    Go

I get this for every database that is converting, any clue if I can ignore or what the cause\resolution could be?

The DB Maintenance screen has problems if there are any objects in the system DB which have a value in schema/owner of anything other than DBO.

    Hi Glen,

What's recorded in the DBBuild.log file after the process completes?
