Hi,
After lots of searches, I learnt I can set dependency for requests of a batch call and call an api with bond action at the end.
Is there any way to auto trigger something to run when BC finish handling the last batch call request?
I have tried adding code at OnClosePage but seems codes in that trigger won't run.
Furthermore, I found that each batch call is atuclly running at indepentant session.
That means I can't rely on the session id to identify which records are from same batch call.
Is there any method to achieve this?
Thanks you!
With out knowing what kind of data you are trying to process i can tell you that a common method to use for this is
1) Let you API populate some queue tables
2) Write code to process the data you have in the queue tables
But it would be easier to give you a more specific approach if you described what kind of data you are working on.
Hello,
We currently do not have dedicated Dev support via the Dynamics 365 Business Central forums, but I wanted to provide you some additional resources to assist. If you need assistance with debugging or coding I would recommend discussing this on one of our communities.
dynamicsuser.net/.../developers
I will open this up to the community in case they have something to add.
Thanks.
