Hi, is it possible to choose China, Mainland, as country/region when implementing projects for customers based in China? If this is not possible, what are the workaround or solution? Thanks for your help!

Hi, the answer is no, BC is currently not released in Mainland China.

Of course you have two choices,

1. Use the On-Pre version, which is the W1 version.

2. Use the SaaS version but choose Hong Kong, Taiwan or Macao as the region.

I once discussed this topic with the localization leader of Microsoft, because there are not so many customers and partners, and they have not yet felt the importance of releasing BC in Mainland China. Most of the current customers have head offices abroad and branches in China.

PS: Simplified Chinese has been added in BC17.2.

Microsoft has added Business Central platform support for Chinese (Simplified), Bulgarian, Greek, Romanian and Turkish languages in BC17.2

I assume when using any of the other regions SaaS, the local currency will not be CNY?
