Is there a way to have multiple MPOS installed on laptop for different environments?

Posted on by 87

Hi everyone,

I have to do testing for a UAT environment on D365 and MPOS installed on my laptop but I also still need an MPOS for connected to a vanilla sandbox for testing. Out of box, the MPOS app is restricted to only having one installed app on the laptop. It sucks to have to spin up a box or VM just so I can use an MPOS connected to another environment.

Is there any tricks available to configure two MPOS links on my laptop, one to each environment?

Thanks

I agree with Shafeeque. I do the same when it comes to testing (one as CPOS and another one as MPOS)

If you are just testing functionalities, why you don't you run one POS as Cloud POS and the other one as MPOS? I am yet to test if Store Commerce App and Modern POS can co-exist on the same machine.
