order again based on item coverage min and max quantity,

so if counting mins the on hand, master planning will cover it based on your setup

    Hi Mahmoud,

I had checked its not setted at item coverage min and max.

not setting at default order setting too.

is there any setting related to this ?

    Thank you

It is the item coverage setting, so if you "need" it after the negative adjustment, AX will plan for it (even if the counting journal is not posted).

    Hi Steven,

in item coverage setting, we never define qty for this item,

my counting journal minus 1 pcs, it is because we don't allow negative on hand ? that's why AX suggested to order it ?

    thank you

If you look at the net requirements it will tell you. If you have 0 on hand you cannot remove 1 from inventory in a counting journal anyway.

The journal is 6 weeks old if the original picture is correct, this drives stock negative so you need to order 1. Obviously this cannot be true, you need to delete the journal in my opinion.

    Hi Steven,

we use parameter for : no negative on hand,

so its should not has negative on hand right.

we cant delete the journal, since its was devidence that we do counting and the on hand is not found that's why we minus .

    Thank you

That counting journal is not posted, if it was it would simply be part of the on hand. It is a reflection of what you are "going" to do, which is why planning is referencing it. Your negative control stops you going negative, planning plans to fulfil demand, which in this case is you driving the stock negative even though you would be prevented.

    Hi Steven,

I wondering why I have 2 line for counting journal , 1 with physical and the other is not.

if we see the total transaction is total receipt 19 and total issue 19, but counting with blank physical date make another minus 1 qty so the total issue is 20, make - 1 for on hand,

could you help to explain more based on my scrrenshoot.

    Thank you

Those are two different counting journals undertaken weeks apart. If your inventory transaction is ended, and the journal is posted, and the line is still showing in the net requirements you have a corruption of the transaction you need to sort. I believe this was an issue in early AX2012 resolved by a hotfix/CU so search LCS.
