budget check cannot be performed. The budget cycle time span assigned to dimension value does not have a budget cycle for the accounting date 1/3/2023.

Hi,

You activated the budget cycle plans.

Can you please check budget cycle plans if account is defined on your budget cycle.

I just added the budget cycle time span for 2023 and updated the budget control configuration-assign budget models.

But the error is still showing, how to fix the issue?

We had the same issue when adding a new fiscal year and budget cycle. The budget cycle needs to be linked to the budget model.

... After confirming the new fiscal year is set up and new budget cycled added (for us these are the same), we had to "Assign budget models to budget cycles", adding the new budget cycle.

Note: The "+Add" button is inactive until you place it in draft mode, i.e. "Create draft", and then you'll need to Activate it after adding the new budget cycle. (Budget controls are likely affected while in draft state, so heads-up.)

This cleared the error for us.

Hi,

in the budget control configuration, there is 2 pages where we setup the budget cycle.

check the budget cycle in

1- the first page : define parameter

2- and in the page : define budget control rules (for all rules)
