Banking module?

Hi,

Our company recently installed Navision and we do not have bank statment reconciliation as an option. Is there any software that will work with Navision to enable reconciliation as well as check printing and maybe even downloading info from the bank into Navision?

    Yes  Bank Reconciliation is available within base NAV, but that is manual process. We are offering a completely automated solution for our clients.

    Good morning. Just a few other things to note. As mentioned Bank Reconciliation is available within base NAV. If you contact your partner they can make sure you have purchased the proper granule to ensure it is included in your license file and that should allow you to see the proper forms/windows etc... If you go to the main page of Customersource

    mbs.microsoft.com/customersource

    and from there go to training&certifications-download training material, filter by NAV product line and look for Finance in Microsoft Dynamics NAV 2009 Course Number 80041..over on the right hand side there should be a link to the North American SP1 documentation that would cover the localized information for Bank Reconciliation. Chapter 4 of this is Cash Management that will go in depth on how to do a bank reconciliation as well as how to issue checks through payables as well.

    Also from Customersource if you go to training&certifications-e-Learning, you can filter based on NAV 2009 and Finance area and see there is also a course ware that is available for cash management. E-learning courses go more in depth on certain topics within the training(it's not a substitute to the training material), so it's great to use in conjunction with the material as it helps you more step by step on what to do.     Beyond this, your partner should be able to assist you with any further information or training of this granule.

    Some more information about our NAV Automated Bank Reconciliation  solution:

    • Auto matching of Bank Statement with NAV Bank entries

    • Bank Statement directly imported into bank without much alteration

    • User defined Mapping tool to map Bank statement field with NAV Fields

    • Duplicate Bank Statement can’t be imported.

    • Manual Matching option to match unmatched records

    If this is a recent installation - then you need to contact you Nav Partner asap.

    3rd party bank rec is not needed.  nav has bank rec.

    Contact your partner and tell them what you need and how you can access it.

    There are 3rd party add-on's but check the standard nav first.
