The error appears below "Cannot connect to the configuration database."
This happens after we move to a new domain name.

Rob is correct this is a SharePoint issue. One way to always test is see if you can access your top SharePoint site, if you cannot then the issue is with SharePoint not BP.

This is a SharePoint issue. I'd recommend searching online for steps to remedy the problem (just search with your error message). The following link is an example: support.microsoft.com/.../823287.
