Hi 

I am using CRM 2016, CRM Default button is not visible on dashboard when user click record on subgrid on dash board. But this will work in CRM online.

Expected one

Without data in subgrid on Dash board

The above one is working CRM online but not in CRM 2016

Could you please tell me is this issue in CRM 2016

    Hi Alagu,

    Is your scenario that all dashboards except one show the Set as Default button? That's supposed to happen if you're already looking at your dashboard. The difference between Online and 2016 could be because somebody already set the 2016 dashboard to the default. Try changing the default to another dashboard and I bet you'll see the Default button reappear on the sales dash.

    Hi Aiden,

    No if you see the second image "New lead, Open associated Grid,Delete button" buttons are enabled when I select the data in the all lead grid in CRM online. The same button is not visible in CRM 2016

    Hi Alagu,

    I am not sure your images are describing what you are trying to ask.

    In the first image, there is no data visible and no records available and nothing is selected, so what you are seeing is the default dashboard buttons when nothing is selected. I see the exact same thing in my environment.

    In the second image, you clicked on a record, when the data is visible. You have a selected record, so the available commands in the dashboard change (such as open associated grid, edit, ...)

    Unless your question is different, what you are showing in your screenshots is the expected behavior.

    If you think you should be seeing something else, please explain...

    Hi Aric,

    You are correct that one was expected behavior but it is not working in CRM 2016 as  i displayed on second image (open associated grid, edit, ...) buttons are not visible in CRM 2016 onpremise environment

    Which buttons are not visible? I see from your images the expected behavior.

    Can you clarify what you are seeing and what you are expecting to see?

    I also have a 2016 On Premise environment and am seeing the expected results.
