Can anyone give me a details or reference documentation about Customer Invoice Matching in D365FO.

    Do you definitely mean customer invoice matching? What is the scenario? I would expect a customer invoice to be generated and invoice matching to be a better fit for purchase and supplier process.

    Hi,
    As mentioned, we need more details about your scenario to provide better clarification.

    In general, in D365FO, customer transaction matching is performed through the settlement function, where invoices can be settled against payments or credit notes. This process can be done manually from the customer card or automatically by importing payment files into the customer payment journal.
