The user is not a member of the organization in dual write

Hello everyone,

I’m currently facing an issue with Dual Write. The error message I’m receiving is:

“Writes to entity failed with error message: Request failed with status code InternalServerError and CDS error code: 0x80072560. Response message: The user is not a member of the organization.”

I’ve already checked all the necessary privileges required to write in the Power Apps environment.

Could you please help me identify what might be causing this issue?

    1. User Synchronization:
    • Check User Presence: Ensure the user account exists in both your source system (e.g., Dynamics 365) and the target Power Apps environment.
    • Synchronization Status: Verify if user synchronization between the two systems is active and up-to-date. If not, trigger a manual synchronization.
    1. Security Roles:
    • Power Apps Environment: Double-check that the user has a security role in the Power Apps environment that allows write access to the specific entities involved in the Dual Write.
    • Dataverse: In the Dataverse environment behind your Power Apps, ensure the user has appropriate security roles to perform create, update, or delete operations on the relevant tables.
    1. Application User:
    • Dual Write Setup: The Application User configured in your Dual Write setup needs sufficient privileges in both the source and target environments.
    • Review Permissions: Review this Application User's security roles and ensure they have the necessary permissions for the entities being synced.
    1. Dataverse Table Permissions:
    • Table-Level Security: If table-level security is enabled in your Dataverse environment, make sure the user has explicit permissions to the tables involved in the Dual Write.

Thank you for your replies, it was solved with adding the application id to the application user id from power apps side

    Hi,

Have you checked if the user has the correct Dynamics 365 license attached next to checking the roles and privileges?

Sometimes, Azure Active Directory (AAD) synchronization issues can cause this error. Ensure that the user is properly synchronized between AAD and Dynamics 365.
