1. I downloaded the Developer extensions and the developer toolkit. (vsix for dynamics)

2. Updated the manifest with the version 15 instead of the 14.

3. Got both installations completed

4. Instead of map the folders installed I mapped the path to the most recent version of dlls.

And now I cant make the connection. When I tried to start a new project I get the window that asks if you want to reconnect to crm and it shows my server: organization: and user: do you want to use this connection I click yes and then I get this error:

    Hello,

Looks like issue I had with Reporting Services and TLS1.2 enforced. Try approach suggested here - butenko.pro/.../microsoft-dynamics-365-v9-0-how-to-fix-connectivity-issues-between-ssdt-report-authoring-extension-and-dynamics-365

    Hi,

We are currently in amigration project:

    CRM 2016 Service Pack1 On-Premise to CRM 365 Online v9.0

Visual Studio 2015 to Visual Studio 2017

I installed the D365 developer extensions.

When I try to open projects in Visual Studio 2017, I get errors that the project type is not known.

Do I still need to install the CRM Developer Toolkit on top of the extensions?

I thought the templates would come with the extensions.

I checked the wiki but it is still not clear to me (it helped solve me the .NET framework issue though).

We removed in the project files (csproj) the line that contains the ProjectGuidTypes and saved.

That solved the issue of not being able to open the file.

    We didn't install the SDK.
