    Hi,

    It seems you’re using a custom entity whose logical name is evtech_ticketrequest.

    The syntax of the dynamic content for Lookup field should be

    {!EntityLogicalName:FieldLogicalName/@name;},

    and for Date field should be

    {!EntityLogicalName:FieldLogicalName/@date;}.

    Here is an example:

    (+) Insert dynamic values in Email Templates from Custom Entities - Microsoft Dynamics 365 Community

    So your syntax for start date need to be changed to something like:

    {!evtech_ticketrequest: evtech_stratdate/@date;}

    (Please comfirm if the name of the field is stratdate ore startdate here.)

    Please have a try to see if it works.

    And for Business Unit, the field is a bit special. Please refer to the next article to know more about it.

    Hii Nya,

    evtech_startdate is not a field in evtech_ticketrequest

    evtech_eventid is the foreign key placed in evtech_ticketrequest

    evtech_startdate is the  field of evtech_eventid

    is it possible to fetch it using {!evtech_ticketrequest: evtech_startdate/@date;} ?

    Hi,

    I’m sorry for the misunderstanding.

    If the Start Date is the field in the other entity, it cannot be fetched with {!evtech_ticketrequest:evtech_startdate/@date;}

    Unfortunately, the lookup field can only fetch the name with GUID by

    {!EntityLogicalName:FieldLogicalName/@name;}

    If this helped you, I'd appreciate it if you'd mark this as a Verified Answer, which may in turn help others as well.

    Best Regards,

    Nya
