Is it possible to get the text of Quick find of Entity, I have created one custom entity. I need to create record regarding text of Quick find in custom Audit Entity.
CRM Version: 2011
Custom Entity created: Audit Quick Find
Custom Field created: Search Text
I want to create a record in Audit Quick find entity when user does the search in Quick Find as shown below
If it is possible then how we can achieve it??

Hi,
You may be able to but it's going to hurt performance. You can add a plugin to the RetrieveMultiple message that fires when any query is executed. There's sample code here: blogs.msdn.microsoft.com/.../using-plug-ins-to-modify-views You could created your custom record in this message.
The RetrieveMultiple plugin will fire any time a query runs - advanced find, quick find, SDK query, looking at a view, etc. I think there are properties available to let you see the query type but I'm not positive. If you can find that, you can limit your creation to just the quick find views.
