Previously I asked how to find all competitors associated with a given opportunity.
The answer to that question was kindly provided to me here:

So now, I have an opportunityid and can get all the competitorids associated with it.
How, do I break that association for a given competitorid. I don't want to delete the competitor as it may be used in other opportunities. Also, how would I make a new association?
