What is the different between Invoice journal and Vendor Payment Journal?

Hello everyone,

I just little confused, What is the difference of "Invoice Journal" and "Vendor Payment Journal"? 

What are the different function they do individually?

    In this case,

    Vendor payment journal is to pay the invoices.

    Invoice journal is to post the invoices that are not related to PO.
