We would like to restrict model-driven apps made available to users in D365 based on their device type.
We have 2 model-driven apps we would like to leverage. The first is for web-based clients and has all of our CRM features within it. The second is for mobile devices and offers a more limited experience but with offline capabilities. We are looking to restrict access on mobile devices so they can only see the mobile app. We have an access only security role that is meant to grant users the ability to see the mobile model-driven app, but this does not hide our web-based application.
How can we restrict model-driven apps made available to users in D365 based on their device type?
