PR workflow

HAI 

 i need to set workflow for  department wise approval in PR window if its possible ? then kindly guide me.

i have five department in PR processing method, in each department have HOD(head of the department),
example five department:
1)electrical department
2)electronics department
3)mechanical department
4)computer department
5)instrumentation department
here i mentioned five departments.
each department have HOD(head of the department)
Electrical-->HOD
Electronics-->HOD,
Mechanical-->HOD,
Computer--> HOD,
Instrumentation-->HOD.
i need to set for workflow for this. and every department have HOD.
example:
Electrical department staff have to put one PR then,that PR will go to electrical department HOD only,this is a concept. can you got it,if it possible the guide me please.

    Thank Jothikrishnan,

    I realize that we use Canadian Payroll and in our case that workflow is not available since it's not compatible with CPY. We only use the PTE option for Project Accounting.

    In the case of Raja, I'm wondering if he wouldn't get around his need just by using the Hierarchy option from the WF setup, thus relying on the AD user  setup to drive the approvals and notifications.

    Beat....WF 2.0 does have the Payroll WF as well.

    Hi Raja,

    It looks like you're running with GP2015 (according to the TAG in your post)... Business Portal doesn't exist anymore with GP 2015, and the replacement for the SharePoint Workflow, aka Workflow 2.0, embedded into GP2015 does not have (yet) an approval WF for the Payroll module (if that's you meant as PR)...

    Currently WF 2.0 offers workflows for :

    - Financials

    - Sales

    - Purchasing

    - Project Accounting (TS & EE)

    - Administration (SmartList designer)

    I'm not aware of Microsoft working right now on other WF's to come...
