Does anyone know how I can restrict access to registers
ex: I have station 1 were all transactions are put on hold
and the customer goes to station 2 to pay.
cashier at station 2 recalls from hold and tenders the sale
can I restrict the cashier that works on station 1 from login on to station 2

Hi Hozay.
I beleive the only option available in the standard RMS would be assigning a Cashier to a Cash Drawer, but not exactly restricting the access to the POS... Also, don't think You can make a workaround with the Security levels of the users (cashiers)...
So, the only thing I can think of is a small add-on, a development that can control this. This is should not be complecated, probably a few days of work, a small DLL that will be hooked up at the moment of recall or sale, that will control the Cashier who is doing the recall... This is only fast thinking, you'll need to discuss a little bit deeper everything you want to be controled, but still, I think it's something that can be done in few days work...
