SQL Update Bank Transaction Dates

Our GL Team has had a few incidents where the transaction date is imported incorrectly.

Anyone know all the variation of tables I would need to update to do this quickly for them?

Trying to find an efficient way to get this completed each time this occurs so that they do not have to void and re-import each month.

    Are these Journal Entries?  You could use the Correct/Copy feature to reverse it and recreate it where you just simply have to change the posting date.

    Hi,

    Depending on what you want to change.

    The bank transaction itself is stored in CM20200. There are two date fields.

    • TRXDATE - the date of the bank transaction
    • GLPOSTDT - the general ledger posting date
    • POSTEDDT - the date the entry was actually posted

    After the CM20200 table, the transaction goes into the GL20000 table. There are 

    • TRXDATE - the date of the journal entry
    • ORPSTDDT - the date the subsidiary ledger was posted.

    The only fields I think really make a difference are:

    • CM20200.TRXDATE
    • GL20000.TRXDATE

    Thank you so much Leslie!

    I had updated TRXDATE for CM20200 for the team. They came back about the Trial Balance, and I was able to update TRXDATE GL20000.  I wanted to make sure I wasn't missing another piece and it come back to haunt me.
