Anytime anyone, either inside or outside our organization forwards an email received from our Dynamics 365 Marketing, they get response from the recipient that the email had no links. And the whole format of the email gets adjusted, in Outlook, Gmail, Yahoo, and others. Those emails initially had links when sent and received. The error happens when the recipient forward the emails. This makes it very difficult to let people share our emails that contain links for webinars and such. .
Hi,
No, not all links disappear when forwarding emails.
The link of SharePoint with permission settings may disappear due to security.
For example, here is a marketing email which contains a video, whose link is a fixed one and has no permission limit. When it is forwarded, it can also be shown in the receiver’s mail.
So, if you’d like to insert a link, for example, of a Teams Check-in, it is recommended to get the fixed link first and insert it directly instead of using the button or assist edit.
If this helped you, I'd appreciate it if you'd mark this as a Verified Answer, which may in turn help others as well.

Thank you very much for the response. That makes sense. But why is it when we send an email with a link to a document on our SharePoint (that has permissions for anyone with the link can view) the same thing happens - when forwarded, the link disappears. We have also forwarded our emails to people in the CRM, including to fellow team members, with the same results. So, basically am I correct in my understanding that anytime you forward a email to anyone with a link, the link disappears?
Hi,
Most of the links in Marketing Email are based the relationship with Contact entity.
For example, when a Teams Check-in button for an event is added into an email,
you can find that the HTML of button is something like the following screenshot.
It means that if the receiver is not a contact who have registered the selected event of the button, the button will not be shown in the email. The same is true for links containing such relationships.
So they cannot be forwarded directly, unless you design your emails to use fixed links instead of these links that contain relationships.
If this helped you, I'd appreciate it if you'd mark this as a Verified Answer, which may in turn help others as well.
Best Regards,
Nya
