Creating a new year in GP

This is not the first time that I've created a new year in GP. I'm just curious why this message appears after I hit OK after hitting CALCULATE. Why does it say "All years will be created again"? Thanks.

    I have just tried this against GP 10 and GP2010 and do not get this message.  Have you installed any 3rd Party management applications that may be involved?

    Did it create the new year?  or did you get a further message?

    Just looking for more details in order to assist better.

    Yeah, I've never seen that error in the Financial (Fiscal) Periods Setup window.

    Just for fun  went onto GP2013 and GP2015 and could not duplicate this error message.

    Hope that you have resolved your situation.

    I am currently setting up 2015 in Dynamics GP 2013 and am getting the very same message!  I am scared to hit "OK" fearing that it will do something weird to all my past years!!  What happened when you hit "OK"????

    I would always hit "Ok" and it doesn't do anything to prior years. Hopefully, you'll have the same luck as me.

    It created the new year and didn't seem to affect the prior years. So we are good. We use Analytical Accounting and I'm not sure if that makes a difference. Thanks.

    I had this issue as well and believe it is Analytical Accounting that causes the message. My non-AA companies did not give me the message when I created the new year. No effect on prior years from receiving this message.
