Is it possible to change master data language based on language selected in user options

Hi All,

Jst want to know, is it feasible to change master data language based on user selection of language in settings. Currently, when i selected a language in user options only the labels are changing to the langauge that i selected but not the master data. So, can anyone let me know whether it is possible or not.

Hi, When you change the language in user options, system changes all labels defined for that language. You can expect the labels changed in master data such as for Base enum but not for Text fields. My understanding is where ever you have label defined, it will display as per selected language.

Hi Ax Trainee,

There are a few features where you can enter descriptions in different languages. E.g. you can provide translations for main accounts and products. There is no automatic translation for data which is entered in the application.

Only when you provided the translations, this can be used on e.g. documents or some forms, like the quite recent released feature for product descriptions in the users' language. Show translated product names and descriptions in the UI - Supply Chain Management | Dynamics 365 | Microsoft Learn

Hello,
You might find this relevant here: Translate ERP data automatically using AI into multiple languages. it shows that translation of DATA (not labels/ UI) in F & O is possible based on a simple customization. The solution is open source.
