We run the Delete AP Detail and Delete GL Detail processes each year when we close December. The detail records (according to our retention settings) are removed from the reports and the drill down functions on the screens. However, the records are still in the APTran and GLTran tables. Are these records supposed to be deleted when these processes are run? If not, does any one know if there is a way to remove them other than deleting them directly from SQL? Another process in SL? A third party product?
