Hi, I have question,

Ordered quantity is in KG. When receive the item, supplier will send it in pallet and every pallet has different weight (KG).

Is there anyway user can input the quantity in KG for every pallet they received using warehouse mobile apps?

Since user always receive every pallet in different weight (KG), this conversion rule is not suitable to be used.

I have the same question (0)

    Good day,

Have you already considered to use the feature catch weight?

I think catch weight can be good solution for your scenario.

For more information about catch weight, you might consult the following link: https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/dynamics365/supply-chain/warehousing/catch-weight-processing

The catch weight feature gives the user the possibility to enter different weights per pallet.

    Best regards,
    Laurens van der Tang

    Hi,

Catch-weight is what you are looking for solution. It has been designed for the exact same purpose.
I assume you should order in Pallet though.

Catch weight makes sense in aggregate if you want the number of pallets and the total weight on hand, It won't tell you the weight of each pallet. If you are using AWMS then you can get that from the on-hand for each License plate (LP) if each pallet has an LP, which I assume it would. Every location your pallet can be stored in would need to be LP tracked. But then you could "conclude" the number of pallets from the count of LP's. If a line count is enough, then you don't need catch weight.

You haven't stated if you are using AWMS. If not, then LP's are not an option. If you still want the weight of each pallet visible, you will need to make each pallet a distinct batch or Serial number, which might be painful for transacting . . .

When performing Purchase order receipt using the warehouse mobile app, the user normally has to enter the received quantity. Where are you having an issue?
