When an on-premise business central attempts to send smtp emails , which IP are the requests sent from, is it the server in which the instance is installed on?

We are looking to implement a conditional access policy within exchange to only accept basic authentication requests from a specific IP address.

Any advice is appreciated.

    Hello,

The authentication request come from the client, when authentication was successful, the mail server will send the mail.

    Thank you.
