Hi All,

I have a requirement from a client to be able to combine multiple fixed asset into one and then splitting in again to multiple fixed asset or basically creating new ones. I want to know how much of this is possible out of the box and how I can achieve this functionality. Splitting fixed asset function is there and I haven't explored it yet, but haven't found any function like combining Fixed asset. Can anyone please guide me in the right direction ?

Thanks,

Baber.

    Hi,

Both combining & splitting asset use the same "Split fixed asset" function - which basically allows us to transfer full or part of an asset to another asset OR from one value model to another value model of the same asset.

Thanks for your response. I performed the split using Split fixed asset function, but I want to know from where I can see that this asset has been created from another asset. Can't see any form from where I can check splitting history. Any clue ?

    Hi,

You can go to Value models / Transactions / Voucher / Transaction origin to see the receiving/sending asset from "Number" column.

Thanks. I can see the details in Voucher -> Transaction origin form to find out what new assets were created as a result of splitting
