AX2012 Management reporter - Folder access getting lost

(0) ShareShare

Hi,

Some of our users in AX2012 Management reporter get an error as

"You don't have permissions to generate a report to <Library path>. Select a different location or have an administrator grant permission to the selected location"

MR-issues.jpg

When we look at it, the folder access is getting lost for some users and we restored the access for them once again.

This is happening frequently and I am not sure why. Any inputs on this appreciated.

Note: The access to the ROOT folder is never lost. Only the access to the individual folder gets lost for some users.

    Hello Pradeep S,

Did you make any change to those users e.g. by giving them a new role in D365FO?

If this is the case, then please have a look at LCS and the following hotfix: Issue 3589718

What AX2012 version and Management Reporter version do you use exactly?

If you are not on the very latest version, try to upgrade to the newest MR version to see if this fixes the issue.

    Best regards,

    Ludwig

    Hello Pradeep S,

    Many thanks for this update.

I checked the available fixes on LCS but have not found something about the issue you mentioned.

I would thus recommend that you try to contact the MS support directly to ensure that this is not caused by a system bug.

    Many thanks and best regards,

    Ludwig
