Connect to CRM on-premises from Cordova mobile app

I want to connect and retrieve data from CRM on-premises in Cordova mobile app using CRM Web API. I viewed samples for CRM and Cordova but they are for CRM online. I am looking for an alternative to authenticate to CRM on-premises.

Thank you for your responses.

I initially planned to create web services for CRM operations(CRUD) and call my web services from the mobile app...and that's the direction I'm taking now.

I thought Web API will work for on-premise but apparently not.

Hi,

You need to build some custom proxy class to authenticate CRM. Use that proxy class in your webservice (custom) to read/ update values using mobile app. There is no easy / direct way with on-premise CRM and mobile apps as far as i know.

Hi Zibba360,

i carried out this integration a couple of times, i could suggest you to use a custom webservice that calls crm service inside himself, only for create, update and delete operations. For retrieve and (so particolary) for search call directly sql server: you are lucky to have onpremise version.
