Rejected cycle count process

We are using cycle count plans to generate work. The warehouse counter counts the location/item quantity on the hand held. The supervisor reviews and rejects the count. The question is how does the recount work get created?

Kinda what I suspected. Nothing realy to link it back to the original rejected count.

    Thanks

    Hi Donald,

When supervisor rejects the count for particular item / location he can create cycle count work manually by using Warehouse management > Periodic > Cycle count work by location (or Cycle count work by Item) and applying respective filter (by item or location) in dialog parameters. More info here: docs.microsoft.com/.../cycle-counting . It is for MSDyn365FO but same behavior is applicable to AX 2012. Another option could be is to use spot cycle counting mobile device menu item that creates work automatically once you start counting on mobile device (in this case you do not need to have existing cycle count work in the system).
