Change System Jobs ownership

Microsoft Dynamics CRM 2013 on premise

We have a user that for a many years was doing the configuration and administration of our CRM. There are jobs and workflows with him as the owner.

Now, his position has changed to a sales person and he no longer does those functions.

What is the best way to change jobs and workflows that he is owner of to a new "service" user?

    Hi Kokulan,

Yes, that works great for the 'Process Definition' (eg the bit you can edit),  but after a system job has been triggered and is already running (like a background process that's at a 'Wait' condition), then the only way I've found is to use the 'Assign Records' button on the User form.

    Hi

I normally use advance find to query and filter the processes that I want to change the ownership to and then use the Assign Button. Please see below

You can change the owner of the Workflow by going to Settings - Processes - Particular WF - Deactivate it - click Administration tab - modify the user lookup value to service account - Activate. You can do using Assign button also.
