I want to add an inactive status reason "archive" to the event. But it seems like the deactivate button on the entity form does not work
When I deactivate an event on the grid of events, the deactivation works, but I don't got a question about the reason I would like the event to have.
Also status transitions on the event does not work.
Can somebody help me out?

It seems you have to create custom field for status which you can change based on your requirement. Thank you.
