Default Header Delivery Name and Address on Purchase Orders

Is there a way to default a specific company delivery address for all new POs created. Currently, it seems to just do it alphabetically. Any help would be great!

Dear Tremor Olaes,

You can create a new address in the legal entity address and select the purpose called delivery. And try to create purchase order, this address will come for you the defuult delivery address.

If you want to update delivery address for existing PO you can change it from back end. You need to update the deliverypostaladdress with the newly or old delivery address.

Hi Prashant, Thanks for responding. Unfortunately we have lots of delivery addresses. is there a way to default to one when entering PO?

Dear Tremor Olaes,

I think no you need to do some modification in default system in order to achieve this.

One more option is remaining for you if you will order from one warehouse you can default the delivery address per warehouse. Address selected in the warehouse level will be default address for your. Hopefully it will help you.

Hi Tremor,

I think it's worth checking what happens if you put an address on to the Warehouse (the Warehouse that you use on your POs).

If you have a delivery address related to your warehouse AX will use that address

We decided to just choose shipto address each time.
