and now also get this is wave creation log. doesnt make any sense to me as if need a full LP moving to allow 1 OTR to be picked for the wave. is it my units of conversions or the strategy on the location directives?

Replenishment template WH Demand only managed to create replenishment for 1.00 and not for the full demand quantity of 1.00 of item xyz123.

    Hello,

The print screen is very small and the message is not visible.

What is the exact error message on the work creation history log ?

    Thank you,

    Alina

    sorry..

failed to allocate the item basically. it picks up the location directives, but to me it seems like the work element that falls over. we have a unit of measure set up called RPLN to found up to a full LP of whatever the item, i am suspecting it could be that as the demand is 1 OTR, but a full LP is 36 OTR.

this is the most recent messages. this item is a full pallet of 18 but only 1 is needed for the order. but we would want to move the full 18 to the fixed location. our RPLN unit of measure should round this up to 1 RPLN=18, but it looks like its falling over on this logic. its working fine on normal min/max replen though.

    Hi,

Have you tried to set the Location directives for the Replenishment with 'Round up to full LP' strategy ?

    Thanks,

    Alina

    yes got that in place.

    Hi,

Item allocation failed usually means that there is something wrong with the location directives.

Either the item is not found in the location defied on Location Directives Actions - query or the item is batch tracked but the Location directives action is not enabled for batch.

Also, make sure you are using the same unit on location directives, replenishment template.

    Thanks,

    Alina

i found the solution was to effectively "re-do" the location directives and then it worked. suspect some of the data moved across wasn't right when it was migrated environments. then i added PL for pallet conversion on the replen template and the work template and it worked perfectly.

thanks for the advice though Alina.
