Unable to run SSRS report CRM online

Posted on by 5,227

Hi All,

Somehow I'm unable to run report in SSDT tool. While connecting to data source its looking for credentials. After entering credentials it's again redirected to login page as show below

    Thanks Vaibhav,

It's kind of work around to bypass proxy while authenticating in report. I have had tried this before in one project and it was working as well. any other way to run report without fiddler installation ?

In Data Source file after organization url put organization name.

    Provide org name like.

    www.abcd.onmicrosoft.com;org1234

    In Credentials provide correct credentials.

    Hi Kokulan,

I'm not getting any kind of error, its just showing login page again and again. I'm using VS 2015 for SSRS report development.

    Hi David,

Even after selecting region as well I'm not able to login. Also I'm having only one dataset in report.

You've not selected a region, which means that SSDT will try connecting to the discovery server in each region in turn, and it may be prompting you for each region, hence the multiple prompts. If you know the region, select the region, then see if that works.

Note also that, if you have multiple datasets in your report, you may get prompted for each.

I would check the log file to get the actual error message.  If you can't find the log file or if the log file does not have error details, please share more details on the VS and the tool version you are using.
