AX2012R3 Retail Prices and Discount Setup

Hi,

I currently have an issue with the setup and usage of prices and discounts in the retail module under Retail/Common/Pricing and Discounts. What I am basically interested in is whether the discounts setup (e.g. mix and match discount) there are applicable in a sales order that is created from the call center module or whether those setups are only applicable from retail POS.

Would be happy about any feedback.

Discounts in retail module works with price groups that are attached with every store and call centre too. So it is applicable to both store and call centre.

Ludwig - sorry for hijacking your thread!

Hi Debashish,

Does this mean that, by doing proper Call Center setup, it is possible to use mix and match discount functionality in standard AX sales orders?

Hi Guy/Ludwig,

You can use the Retail periodic discounts on the sales order which are directly created in AX client in AR / sales and marketing / Call center module. The only setup you need to do is creating a call center in the Retail module. Attach the warehouse to the call center then the Periodic discounts would work for the sales line having this warehouse. This way you can get the Retail discounts for AX sales orders.
