Non-inventory items subtracts from physical inventory

I'm using RMS ver 1.2. Lately once in a while non-inventory items are subtracting from the physical inventory. What could be the cause of this?

The item codes are "old" and has been used problem free for a long time.

This was definately a version 1.2 problem.  You could update to 1.3 Sp1 to get rid of this problem.  1.2 also had another nasty problem where anytime you processed a void or return the sales tax on that sale was not subtracted from the sales tax total but instead added to the total. So you would end up paid tax on the original slae and then again on the return instead of canceling the tax.

Its maybe a 1.2 issue.  That version was discontiued ~6 years ago.!

Current version is 2.0.0159 with all hotfixes, .0155 with the last Service Pack 4
