RMS Dynamics POS Activation Wizard

Hi,

 I am after installing Microsoft RMS 2.0 on a new PC. When I tried to open the POS application a Activation Wizard appeared. I put in my Licence key that i had used on my old PC(broken) and followed the steps. Now everytime i go to open the POS application i get the following error - ""Register 1 is already active"

 I am now aware that the same licence key cannot be used on 2 different computers.

What i need to do is the following,

 1: Make the activation wizard appear on the new PC instead of this message when opened.

2: Transfer the licence key from the old PC to the new PC.

 

Can anyone help me or give me adivice with this matter as the customer care numbers haven't a clue what i am talking about.

     Dear,

    you can activate one key more than one time in the same PC, but you can not activate this key on other PC. It is a Microsoft Policy.Contact the partner where from you purchase this key and explain the entire scenario.

You need to setup another register in SO Manager(Database > Registers > Register List) and then set the new pc to the new register number. You change the new computer register number in SO Administrator (File > Configuration > "Register" Tab > "Number" field.) Hope this helps. Tim

    I know this is a little late but I just had the problem and after a reinstall I had to go into administrator and change the register number and that fixed the problem.
